At Small World Learning Centers, we believe in the value and uniqueness of each child we serve. Our childcare experience is designed to promote each child’s own individual social, emotional, physical and cognitive development. As caregivers and educators, our mission is to provide a safe and developmentally appropriate learning environment which fosters a child’s natural desire to explore, discover, create and become a lifelong learner.

We are a member of IdahoStars and part of the Quality Rating Improvement System (QRIS). All of our teachers are required to do 20 hours of continuing education every year. Many are getting their CDA, AA or BS/BA in Early Childhood Education. Additionally, we are all Pediatric First Aid and Pediatric CPR Certified every year, as well as have yearly background checks with multiple agencies. We are working towards becoming nationally accredited.

We provide quality meals and snacks for our children. We serve breakfast, lunch and a PM snack.

We use a program called Brightwheel to communicate with parents throughout the day. Each child has a feed that parents can monitor through an app. Parents and teachers have direct access with each other to discuss their child’s needs.

We work with many local and national agencies and organizations to provide the best care for children including Health and Welfare’s ICCP Program, the Infant-Toddler Program, the Boise School District Developmental Screening Program, IdahoStars, NAEYC and Idaho AEYC.

We work closely with our families to create a team to give each child the best start in life. We are here to answer questions, provide support and give the best care for your children.
